Ryan Cowie

Born and raised in Calgary Alberta, Ryan studied acting with the Company of Rogues before heading to New York City to attend the Neighborhood Playhouse School of  the Theatre. New York credits include Law & Order, a national tour performing Summer of the Swans, and numerous commercials including Comedy Central, Ford and Pizza Hut. 

In 2007 Ryan relocated to Vancouver and has been enjoying the benefits of being closer to home and the perks of a west-coast lifestyle. Vancouver credits include Monster Trucks, The L-Word, The Uninvited, and nearly 75 commercial credits. Ryan recently earned a Canadian Screen Nomination for Best Actor for his role in Android Employed, portraying a confused middle aged father.  Ryan's wife and kids feel he comes by these qualities quite naturally on a day to day basis. Despite their comments, Ryan loves his family dearly, and when not pursuing acting gigs, he can be found tormenting his children in parks across Vancouver. 

Ryan is very excited to be joining the cast of The Making of Me! A big thank you to Rachel for allowing him the opportunity to challenge his acting chops in a manner he is not normally presented with.
